Description: A unique illuminated celestial motion star similar in overall design to a vintage Bradford Celestial Star, but a bit larger. Unique because instead of using a rotating heat-generated balance cylinder, it utilizes a much easier rotating colored motion bulb that screws into the standard lamp-size socket built into the base. Star brand is unknown, but it is well made and in very good condition, no breaks or cracks in the star or the globes. When switched on (by the line switch), the motion bulb rotates inside the globes to display a unique and bright multi-colored rotating light pattern. If needed, rotating bulb can be easily replaced simply be removing either side of the plastic globe to screw in a new bulb. These rotating colored motion bulb units are available on eBay for under $10. If using as a tree topper, the inside hollow part of the stem measures about 1-1/2". The outside is wrapped in green vinyl tape to help it blend in.
