Description: This product is a vintage Italian ceramic bread plate from Peasant Village P.V. Peasant Village pottery was made in several countries, including France, Italy, and even in the U.S. . The company, Mitteldorfer Straus of New York, imported this line beginning in 1928 and they continued to use it through the 1980's. It features a round shape with a floral design on a blue plate with a yellow trim and was manufactured in 1972. The edge has a raised impression. The plate has a painted backstamp with 69348 and date, 8/1972. The style is Neoclassical floral arrangement, making it a decorative as well as functional piece.
