Description: Old Underwood mechanical writing machine / typewriter. Clean machine in my opinion. Tested as best I know and all the functions seem to be working fine. No sticking, and nothing is slow. Runs pretty well really. Fresh ribbon installed on the spools I found it with. Rubber is not terrible for the vintage. Smells like a typewriter, but I wouldn't consider it overwhelming. The case is solid, but there's staining, soiling, and it just is not the prettiest. No paperwork or key. These machines have a great look... especially in the two tone. I am enthusiastic about typewriters, but by no means an expert or professional repair person. Pictures of the typeface and serial number can be seen in the gallery. All pictures were taken outside in natural light and are a big part of the description. Please review them carefully, use the zoom, and make sure this machine will work for you.
