Description: PAT JUNE 8 1896 is stamped on the bottom. I believe this is an original. No key, a bunch of coins were inside when I got it, but I don't want to damage the bank trying to get them out. Weight: 4 lbs. plus weight of coins = 4.414. The bank works fine, beard moves when coin drops into valise. The paint is in good condition. This bank came from a family of collectors from a previous generation. 11" high, 4 7/8" wide, 3 7/8 " deep. In no rush to sell (because I love it) but feel free to make an offer if you love it, too. I've seen some like mine listed at $1100 - $1900.
