Forty Four years prior, Orville and Wilbur Wright lift off in their make shift plane from Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Orville at the controls max speed 31mph, “a first”. Chuck Yeager 43 years later in a rocket experiment plane becomes the first person to break the sound barrier, max speed 700mph. At the age of 24 he was on his way to becoming a “Hero”. In 1944 Chuck Yeager P51 Mustang was shot down behind enemy lines in France. Evading the enemy, returns home. He flew 361 different Makes of Military aircraft. Interesting story, read rare.
