The plant was vigorous, and the pumpkin was solid all around (see photos). *The photos have not been altered in any way. This was the true color. These plants get huge, and so do the pumpkins! They need lots of space and water and are a real adventure to grow. I tested these seeds in December and proved them to be viable. A story: My first year growing giant pumpkins was not a good experience. I purchased Atlantic Giant Pumpkin seeds online. They came from a generic giant pumpkin. I shared the seeds with my friend, and we both grew our first giants, only to realize the pumpkins reached about 30 pounds. Make sure you know where your pumpkin seeds come from!
