The kit consists of:2 Silicone Molds specifically designed for casting resins + 4 wooden planks for firm grip10 T-shaped laser cut stainless steel inserts (5 for each mold)2 sheets of beautiful realistic 3D eyes5 lead strips (10 g each) This is how you make the lures: 1. You spray your mold with aerosol release agent before every resin cast. This will ensure the smooth release of the lures and the longevity of your molds.2. Wrap a piece of the lead around the T-shaped steel insert and place the insert into the mold. This way you will add more weight to the lure and determine how the lure lays in water depending on where exactly you place the lead. A perfectly balanced floating lure is typically about 15 g / 25 g in weight. 3. Close the mold and secure it with the wooden planks and lock with a clamp.4. You can now pour the resin. You could use all sorts of resins - epoxy, polyurethane, urethane. To make floating lures, you could use floating resin or add floating additive (micro bubbles) to a non-floating resin.5. After the resin has cured, you can finish your lures by airbrushing, adding eyes and clear coating. We recommend the crystal clear UV coat available here.
