Description: Two (2) Painting Textured Litho Print by Antoine Blanchard 1970s “Moulin Rouge” Paris Street Oil Painting Litho Print And 1960s Fine Art Litho "Champs Elysees”, France Street Oil Painting Print.Textured Lithograph Prints are on varnish cardboard ~ approx 8” x 10”. Both prints need a frame. Great vintage pre-owned condition ~ little yellowing and a couple of marks. On the front left hand corner is a copy of Antoine Blanchard’s signature.Antoine Blanchard (1910 – 1988) paints his native Paris with all the verve and color that only a Frenchman can feel for this charming city. The artist began painting his Paris street scenes in the late 1950s, and, often painted the same landmark many times, in different weather conditions or various seasons. The most recurrent topics were views of the capital city in cloudy or rainy days, showing streets busy with pedestrians in a rush to go home, and bright storefronts reflecting on wet streets.
