Description: The Historical Archive Sample Page Twenty-Five Hour Day on DVD Twenty-Five Hour Day is a Vietnam War film produced for the United States Air Force in conjunction with Fairfield Aviation - the manufacturer of the F-105 Thunderchief (nicknamed "Thud"). This was one of the fighter-bombers flown in the Vietnam war. The film details the life of the air force men who handled all the operations to keep the aircraft running during the war and includes footage of many of the aircraft of that era including F-4s, A-1a, HH-53s and many others. It also includes some footage of the aircraft carriers used during that time and ground operations. What is unique about this film is that in addition to giving the justification of going after supply operations, it also includes a portrait of all the servicemen involved in the air flights. So in addition to the pilots we get a good look at the role of the various other crews - ground crews, tanker crews, Pararescue crews and others - and the vital role they play in the war operations.
