The contents page lists the birds with lines from poems by Coleridge, Keats, Milton, Wordsworth and so on. Title page lists publisher Thomas Bosworth, London and Putnam & Co. New York 1853. Front blank page shows Phebe R. Madison (?) was given this book January 1, 1854. Plates (pages) measure 7 x 9 3/4 inches (34.5 cm x 17.5 cm) This listing is for all loose pages and boards. No covers or binding. Mostly excellent condition, some with slight corner, edge wear. The lithographic prints are of exceptional quality Joseph Wolf was considered leading nature and wildlife artist.
