Genuine vintage sheet music and lyrics to this historic and descriptive Tufts University (then known as Tufts College) -- an homage to the school's most famous benefactor! Three colorful verses! A note at the top of the page reads: "P.T. Barnum was a trustee of Tufts, and his gifts to the College include not only the skin of the celebrated Jumbo but the Barnum Museum of Natural History, where Jumbo adorns the Entrance Hall." Taken directly from an old book published in 1931 of college alma mater and pep songs, these are two beautiful, cream-colored pages lightly tinged with the golden burnish that comes only with the passing years. This original song sheet is over 90 years old and has survived the decades in fantastic condition. Two pages, both on the fronts so you can see the whole song for framing. Song credit at top: "JL.R. Lewis." Date at bottom of music: "Copyright, 1895, B.R. Wood Music Co., and used by permission of hte composer." The page is approx. 6" x 9" -- perfect for framing.
