Several page corners are creased and there is some occasional soiling and faint minor spots of foxing. The first appearance of Edgar Allan Poe's "A Tale of the Ragged Mountains", a story which combines mesmerism and reincarnation set near the University of Virginia where Poe had been a student in 1826-7.
