Description: Truax Green and Company Tonsillotome for Tonsillectomy. Tool is in good condition with some loss of finish. The 2 thumbscrews are rusty but do work. The thumbscrew on the bottom of the handle locks the handle in the proper position for using the tool. The upper thumbscrew serves as a pivot and when tight will hold the handle in the folded position. Tool is almost 7" long and when unfolded it is 4-3/4" tall.
