It closes with a locking 'C' clasp and is signed & hallmarked 'TK STERLING’ en verso. This style of brooch was often used as a mother's gift as the rhinestones could be changed out to represent birthstones of loved ones. Now, they are worn for any occasion and make a lovely addition to a jewelry lover's collection! The item is in very good condition with gentle wear consistent with age/use.
