(Page 1) Trophy of Wales - The Boer War - The Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment Presentation Set This was a presentation set from the collection of Martyn Bateman (Surrey, England). Mr. Bateman's collection of Trophy soldiers is regarding as the most comprehensive collection in the world and highly regarding by Sam Floca on many levels. This set was either gifted or sold to Sam Floca (according to Sam's notes, there is a cost associated with this set). The set resides in a very nice presentation box. Unfortunately, Sam has added numerous labels to the box and the Trophy label on the box end is mostly missing. It does distract from the overall appeal of the box. The figures are in exceptional nice condition. EXCELLENT condition - Original Trophy Box This set was part of the Sam Floca Jr. Collection of Trophy Soldiers - In the coming months I will be offering more sets from Sam's collection of military figures made by Trophy of Wales. These figures were displayed & stored in a Smoker's home - All boxes/paper labels & packing material (paper/foam) will have the odor of cigarette smoke. To my sense, THIS DOES NOT IMPACT the FIGURES in anyway - The figures do not have an odor. Also, boxes (Original or not) have printed notations added to them regarding the contents of the box and/or additional information regarding the set contained in the box, inventory tracking notes. All of these notes were added by Sam Floca to help him better manage the scope of his collection historically, for identification purposes and for a general sense of organization.
