Description: Vintage Trio of Augarten Wien Viennese Rose Porcelain ~ Trinket Box Trinket Dish Vase 1920's. These superb pieces of Viennese porcelain are all handcrafted and hand painted in one of the most popular patterns of the pre World War II era. They are made of the highest quality porcelain and especially fine-painted using the overglaze technique with a brush or pen nib after the porcelain has been fired twice. The blue shield and crown with Wien inscription mark has been used since 1923 but registered in 1934. Each piece is numbered - 5089 appears to be the pattern number for the Viennese Rose as it appears on all three pieces. The covered dish is 6" x 4" x 1½". The open tray is 5½" x 3¾" x ¾". The vase is 4¼" tall, 3" in diameter at the top with a base diameter of 1¾" All measurements are approximate These pieces are in "as found" condition. I leave it to the buyer to clean and/or polish as they wish.
