This is actually for sale under $69. But due to fees and shipping, the price needs to be higher. That's just the way it is and it's one reason why many other "custom" bodies sold are bootlegs/knockoffs due to the much lower cost. Blame the middleman for potentially declined offers. This is labeled used because, unlike some other sellers, I am not going to break ebay's rules and sell an item that is opened and altered as "new". Be Aware that some pics show it with the outer peel coat on. They are there to help show the graphics since the reflections might make them hard to see. When shipped, that thin layer will be gone. The body will be glossy (like a stock body) and ready for decals as shown in the other pics. You'll have to judge whether it's close or not, but it's certainly closer than the current brightly-colored stock bodies. There's a small amount of sparkle in this design as well. Don't delay. One day these bodies may be taken off eBay because they just are not worth the time and fees involved. As shown, there are no stickers on this body at all. So unlike some others for sale, you will have the freedom to add brand new decals however you prefer or keep it clean. Unmounted Body with New Decals Only (No screws, clipless cage, Hoss etc) Never run. *Note: If your receiver antenna is long, you may need to make a hole for it. Also, this is extremely shiny and glossy. Tamiya Flat Clear can be added on the outside for $10 more if a dull look is preferred. If you want different colors, a preorder can be made on my other ebay listing. In general, I prefer to buy bodies without stickers applied. Therefore, this includes brand new and unused Hoss 4x4, grill, light, tailgate, hood and window decals. Don't like rainbow colors? Want a body that most people don't have? You're in luck then. This is one Traxxas body with a custom paint job (gun metal with multiple printed graphics) for the 4x4 Hoss. Marked used because it has been painted and removed from the sealed bag it came in. It's an authentic item, not fake like some other bodies being sold on ebay. Unlike some other sellers, I only use quality RC paints. No dips or wraps. Body colors provided by Tamiya PS and Traxxas. Default PS Paint:Gun MetalDifferent colors are optional with eBay's Make Offer button on another listing. The inside is black because bodies look the best that way. If you would prefer raw exposed paint instead of that protective coating, check my other listing to place a preorder. The paint job may not be flawless. This is painted by a human, not a machine. Painted with RC specific paint and then backed with a flexible coating to try and protect the paint. Top protective peel coat is removed and ready for decals. Paint could come off if the body takes a hit or is used for bashing. However Tamiya has a good reputation. Some even claim it's the best. Needless to say, bashing in the cold is asking for problems. On top of all that, unfortunately it must be increased to cover what will be lost to fees once sold. There are no fakes or bootlegs here either, which would reduce the cost and quality. Since some unpainted and mass produced machine printed bodies can sell for $200 or more, the price should be understandable. Keep in mind that I end up with less than 87% of the buy price. Then insured shipping takes another chunk out of that. EBay may offer a good buyer discount though. Ships in an actual box, not a bag or envelope like some other sellers tend to do. Check your eBay for shipping info within 29 days of completed payment. Multiple options available. Some faster than others. Pick what best suits your needs at checkout. Want a discount? Buy during an eBay bucks special and get up to 15% back or use a random coupon code for up to 20% off. Most can disregard this message. However, for less than 1% of buyers out there, make sure you don't have problems receiving mail. If you do, like a full mailbox, no access or tendency to reject packages for example, pick the item up from the shipping company quickly. There is a 20% restocking fee on all items that come back and original shipping cost will be lost. Also, and this is extremely rare. But if something serious happens to the item in transit and you may not feel like messaging me or following the directions of the shipping company (not ebay) in order to solve the problem, then buy from a different seller.
