Description: An incredibly detailed and ACCURATE rendering of BIG BOY No.4014 as it was in June 2010 at the RailGiants Train Museum at the LACo. Fairplex, before the Big Boy’s recent refurbishment and return to service. The abundance and accuracy of detail allows me to offer this print in the huge 20"x 60" or 24"x 72" sizes. You are purchasing an original print of my digital drawing. Although created entirely within the computer, my illustrations are drawings in every sense of the word. Instead of using a pen or pencil, I use a common computer mouse to drag the cursor across the computer screen in the same manner as taking pencil to paper. Every line, every shape is created by moving my mouse across my desktop in the same manner that you use your computer’s mouse at home. Every line and detail is indeed, hand drawn. (I do reserve the artistic right to sometimes augment my drawings with my own original manipulations.) And because the "original" composition exists only in digital code, it does not become an artwork until it is printed. Every print produced is therefore an original artwork. Mind-blowing...Right! All of my drawing are created in a vector format and can therefore be enlarged or reduced with absolutely no degradation in clarity. Each drawing is printed on heavy weight, acid free, archival quality paper stock and mailed in a sturdy mailing tube to prevent damage.
