Description: This is a 9 3/4 X 15 1/2 inch(image size) crayon drawing of an Italian town or city done around the 1950s. It is unsigned or the signature was covered by the way the piece was incorrectly matted. The mat was glued to the front perimeter of the drawing paper and then foam board was glued to the back of the paper making it impossible to remove. It could be matted over the present mat or the mat could be cut around the perimeter and a new mat added for framing.I think it was done by Rodolfo Marma since I acquired about 15 or 20 of his mostly signed works from the same source-Daniel Lewitt Fine Art Gallery(Manhattan) ,which went out of business in the late 1990s. It looks like his work but I cannot be positive. It is nice whoever did it.The condition is otherwise very good to excellent with a small discoloration and slight indentation in the left-hand sky area. It will be shipped for $25 via UPS or USPS.
