Almost all metal discolors over time, however, so you can prolong the finish on your ring as well as the vibrancy of your gemstones by following these simple tips:> AVOID MOISTURE ~ Keep your ring away from moisture. It is best to remove your ring before washing your hands, when showering, bathing, exercising and swimming since contact with water can tarnish the metal and ruin the finish of any gemstones. > AVOID CONTACT WITH CHEMICALS ~ Perfume, soap, moisturizer, lotion, hand sanitizer and other similar chemicals can discolor the plated cooper crafting wire and can harm natural crystals and gemstones. Be careful.> AVOID HEAT EXPOSURE ~ Leaving your ring in direct sunlight or exposed to heat for an extended period of time may also cause the metal to discolor.
