Description: Torre & Tagus Collection Mid Century Nesting Decorative Bowls ~ Set of 2 ~ RARE Description: Abstract / free form in shape, this pair could be the poster child for Mid Century Modern art design. The inside is slate grey and the outside is classic white. Whether for display, centerpieces or holders of goodies, they represent the period to perfection. Condition: EUC considering their age. There is some crazing on the inside bottom visible only in bright light at the correct angle, and a few microscopic scratches also on the bottom of the larger bowl, presumably from nesting the smaller one into it. There is also a tiny cluster of three "dots" (image 8) and a streak of slightly lighter color (image 9), both resulting from glazing and/or painting flaws. The smaller bowl is near MINT. That said, I found no [other] chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, stains, repairs, discoloration or any other cosmetic issues. Even the rough exposed bottom surfaces that normally show some scuffing and/or discoloration remain clean. The round transparent Torre & Tagus Collection label remains attached to both bowls.
