Description: I have several pieces that are motto ware, but only one is marked "Torquay" and it is the pitcher, which has a small chip on the rim. The others are all very similar but could be copycats. The ink well does say "made in England" and has a farm scene on it. I have a 6", 3 handle vase, a 3 1/2" tall creamer, a large 4" cup and saucer, a round 5" butter dish with many chips on the rim. All together they make a nice matching set with dark blues and greens. Only the pitcher is gold.
