Featuring here a hard to find lot of three assorted cocktail linen napkins designed and signed by renown puppeteer and illustrator Tony Sarg. Whimsical set of three animals serving cocktails, including an elephant, pig and dog. These were made circa 1930s through 1950s, and Sarg also designed and was known for his use of large-scale helium balloons in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Trimmed in festive red, measuring approx 8.5" x 5.5". Excellent condition other than a few loose threads on the corner border; the linen is fine with mild to no previous use. Bright colors! If you collect Tony Sarg, will be hard to find some in better condition. Please see photos; there are other Tony Sarg sets available in our inventory as well.
