THE SOLUTION I HAVE COME UP WITH IS A THIN PIECE OF SCOTCH TAPE WRAPPED AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE POLE. I FOUND IT TO ACTUALLY BE QUITE STURDY.. REVIEW THE PHOTOS OF THE DOLL POLE AND HOW IT WILL BE COMING.. SORRY ABOUT THIS.. QUALITY CONTROL IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE I GUESS..
