Very nice Tongzhi Chinese Porcelain Ginger Jar. A beautiful antique jar that is hand decorated with rich enamels. The round has scene of a scene of children at play.There is a parade with children on toy hordes leading a dragon with musicians. There are fireworks, flowers and balloon all in the famille rose palette. It has the red four character reign mark on underside 'indicating' this was made 1861 to 1875. This measures 16 1/2" High x 5 1/8" Wide rim to rim x 11" at the widest point. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this ginger jar. Be sure to scroll down, look left.
