Description: A rare and famous original oil painting by talented American artist Todd White. This is one of his early classic signature paintings that was purchased in 2000 from behind the bar at Nic's Martini lounge in Beverly Hills, California. An interesting and well known restaurant / bar with a vodka tasting room. The owner of the bar allowed Todd to hang and sell some of his paintings at Nic's. This is where it all began for White. He was still working in Hollywood as a lead team member of the character, design and animation team for internationally renowned cartoon series Sponge Bob Square Pants.Later in 2006 he was chosen and named the official artist for the 49th annual Grammy awards. The characters portrayed in this painting are whimsical and so much fun, it makes me laugh and smile. Were these regular customers at Nic's martini lounge on Monday nights, or are they characters created in Todd's imagination? I love the bold and vivid red background color he chose.
