TLC Mattel Barbie Pale Skin Collector Replacement Model Muse Doll Body

Description: In this listing we have a slightly TLC replacement Model Muse doll body. This doll body was released by Mattel as part of the Barbie collector line and I believe came originally with the Holiday Barbie dolls from several years back. This doll body uses a light pink skin tone. It uses the incredibly popular Model Muse body. This body painted fingernails and unpainted toenails. This doll body is articulated at the neck, shoulders, and hips. It has two bent arms that are designed to be posed at the waist. This doll body was made in Indonesia. This listing does not include the metal stand, this doll does not come with a stand. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are more muted in person. This doll body is in fair shape, but has some issues that make it more TLC. I am not the original owner and it looks to have been played with, so it does have some issues and there are also some factory related issues. The neck knob looks to be in good shape. It does have some seam lines and some excess plastic here and there on it, but that wouldn’t be visible when a head is on the body. There is most minimal of stress marks to the neck knob from taking off the original head. The right side of the anchor post is slightly warped from taking off the original head. This won’t affect putting a head on the body, but it could make taking a head off slightly tricky. The doll’s torso looks mostly good. It does have some small scratches and scuffs here and there. The doll’s side and shoulder seams are a little raised. It looks like they didn’t align the front and back perfectly at the factory and one side is a little bit higher than the other. There is also some excess plastic along some of the seam lines. This is most obvious on the right shoulder and neck seam. On the left shoulder seam it’s slightly open at the end. It doesn’t look to be coming apart, just that they didn’t seal it fully at the factory The majority of the torso has a matte finish, but there are some spots where it has a shinier finish. These look to be random spots. On the back of the doll at the neck and shoulders there are some indented lines and spots in the plastic. It looks like they underfilled the mold when making the doll and the plastic settled slightly in those spots where they have internal supports in the doll. The doll’s arms look fair. They do have seam lines going up and down the arms with some excess plastic along the seam lines. There are some small scratches and scuffs to the arms. There is some more obvious scratches to the front of the left elbow with some raised plastic that is slightly rough. There is some scuffing to the tops of both arms where they rub against the hard plastic torso. The doll’s fingernail polish looks mostly good, but has some issues. They are painted a little crooked on some nails. They do have some minor chips to the paint. The paint on both thumbnails is worn. The right thumb has more wear compared to the left. The doll’s legs look fair. They also have seam lines going up and down the leg. In some places along the seam lines there is some excess plastic. There are some marks on the front and back of the legs where they touch the hard plastic torso when the doll is seated or when the legs are pushed back. Most clothes would cover that. There are some small scratches here and there to the legs. There is some obvious scuffing with raised plastic on both toes. There is also some obvious scuffing to the front of the right foot. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll body, please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
