Description: Vintage 1960’s Schering Pharmaceuticals Promotional clay figurine given to doctors as a way of advertising their drug products. This one was for a drug called etrafon, which was an antidepressant medication . The statue used to sit on a wooden base, which has long since been lost. I personally think it looks better without the wood base. This statue is called “ Portrait of Dual Emotional Distress. It is approximately 5 inches tall. This statue is a reproduction replica of of an ancient pre Colombian clay sculpture in the style of Tlatilco/ Michoacán sculpture and depicts conjoined twins.
