Description: This listing is for TWO RARE TITANIC COLLECTIBLES - TOTALING 28 INDIVIDUAL SURVIVOR SIGNATURES! Item 1) COPYRIGHT 1912 - VINTAGE BOOK, “The Sinking of the Titanic and Great Sea Disasters” AUTOGRAPHED by 19 SURVIVORS and 1 RELATIVE OF A SURVIVOR. The book measures at 6 x 9 inches. Pages and binding are surprisingly strong and is overall in good condition at 110 years old. Spine of book has been neatly mended, but still displays beautifully. Item has been on display at lifelong titanic collector's estate. It has been kept with various documents and magazines that have tracked titanic events where many survivors have appeared throughout the decades. Rare signatures with unique details, such a few name changes due to marital statuses. A priceless piece of history. Please contact me with any questions. Item 2) ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH FROM 1987 CONVENTION: 9 TITANIC SURVIVORS. The 1987 convention was the final, largest gathering of titanic survivors. The photograph is signed by all 9 of the survivors pictured, with an additional signature of Millvina Dean (not pictured). Millvina Dean signed at a later date. This appears to be one of a kind, as not many photographs from this convention are present in listings or other internet searches. All signature are in felt marker. Photograph measures at 12” x 8” protected in a clear, plastic stand with Certificate of Authenticity. I will also include the 7 titanic commutator magazines dated from the 1980s & other various documents from the Titanic Historical Society which is how collector obtained most of his autographed memorabilia. Original collector was a member of the Titanic Historical Society whose certificate will be included in these documents. He had extensive research about titanic memorabilia. Upon inheritance, I have followed up with his research. Signatures have matched previously authenticated signatures from comparable items. I have not been able to identify the authenticator "Wez Killough" but still believe it is important to keep all documents together due to the description that it presents, or information it can give to possible future research. I also think it is important to note that some signatures have hard to find details about survivors (such as name changes due to marriages), proving that these are authentic to the year signed and survivors collected from. I have done my best to compile what I know about these items. Bare in mind, I will answer questions to the best of my ability. They are highly sentimental, and valuable on a historical and personal level.
