Description: Very rare, original first run pressing of the classic Seeland/Ponk CD from 1995, factory sealed and brand new. With the possible exception of his work with Brave Combo on Rounder, this is by far Tiny's best work since his major label releases. Includes an incredible cover of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" that is partially reverently true to the original, and partially bizarre (a perfect note-for-note trombone unison along with the iconoclastic David Gilmour guitar solo? Frankly, whenever I hear the original now, I miss the trombone!!!) TRACK LISTING 1. I Saw Mr. Presley Tip-Toeing Through The Tulips 2. If I Had You 3. The Laughing Policeman 4. Religious Medley 5. I Love Me 6. Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2) 7. Soul Twister 8. Take Me Out To The Ball Game 9. I Woke Up With A Cold 10. She Left Me With The Herpes 11. Tell Me That You Love Me 12. Sweet Sue (Just You) 13. True Love 14. Star Spangled Banner 15. Comic Strip Man 16. Depression Medley REVIEWS "I am a big tiny tim fan. He was extremely unique and a wonderful singer. I purchased the first album God Bless Tiny Tim which featured Tip Toe Through The Tulips which is Awesome! Although he is not a one hit wander by any means. This One Tiny Tim I Love Me is a pretty decent cd. It's not as good as the first album or his Christmas one but its good and very humorous. The songs 'I saw Mr presley tip toeing through the Tulips' 'laughing policeman' 'star spangled banner' and the best one 'true love' features his last wife. If you love Tiny buy this one. It won't disappoint :)" "If anyone out here is a Tiny Tim fan they should get this cd. It is made up of studio cuts and songs that are introduced by Tiny. He is even drinking a beer while introducing the religious medley. Soul Twister has Tiny matching perfectly the sounds of the disco 70s. This song and others are performed in Tiny's baritone voice. Overall this cd provides lots of surprises. When Tiny Tim died he took those great turn of the century songs with him. He was one of a kind. Non Tim fans won't get much from this cd. Tiny fans will enjoy it." "This is really a very odd album, but it's a joy to listen to. Only Tiny Tim could make a song as strange as "She Left Me With the Herpes" sound interesting (and funny) or successfully sing "I Woke Up With a Cold" (a short 37 second ditty). This is probably not the album to buy to get an introduction to Tiny Tim. The first time listener might scratch his or her head wondering what it was that he or she just listened to. I think this album really shows what a true talent Herbert Khaury (aka Tiny Tim) really was. He goes through a variety of material here and gives each song his own bizarre treatment. He introduces most of the songs with a bit of history; unfortunately the volume level of the intro is a little low. If you turn the volume up to hear the intro, then the music is too loud. "True Love" features his then current wife, Sue Gardner, along with his singing. "Star Spangled Banner" is an outstanding rendition and really highlights his beautiful baritone voice. He sings a couple of songs or parts of songs on this album with the zany falsetto voice that made him a star with "Tip Toe Through the Tulips" (not on this album). Depression Medley is the most bizarre song on the album with all kind of strange sounds and noises in it. Very entertaining album even if the songs here may not be your cup of tea. A must for any Tiny Tim fan." "Anyone who thinks that Tiny Tim is just "Tip-Toe through the Tulips" will be suprised. Tiny has a wonderful baritone voice and performs a wide variety of music. This is one of Tiny's best efforts. Producer Pink Bob really hit a home run with this project. He's a musical genius!" THANKS FOR LOOKING, AND BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER ITEMS!
