The grater measures 4-1/4″ high with original round top ring. I have not seen a spice container like this before. I do not know if the latch is original. But it may have been designed like this. The condition is nice for the age and use of the spice box and will make a nice addition to a spice box, kitchen, or early tin collection. Ready for you to own and use.
