Description: Unpainted Plastic - Approx. 5" long (1/32nd scale) This 100% Original, Vintage, 1970s rubber-band powered replica of an ancient Roman anti-personnel weapon actually shoots plastic spears! (spears are not included). This classic model was originally sculpted for Timpo Toys in the 50s. This collectible was manufactured in Great Britain in the 70s, the maker's stamp is inside the crossbar support on the bottom of the catapult. It comes with the original band, but the band has lost most of it's elasticity. This is an original Timpo Toy, made by Timpo in what is now the UK. The Roman Spear catapult is in vintage very good condition. These is a vintage repair on one of the axels. Please look over the photos carefully to determine the condition for yourself. Suitable for a variety of civilizations and cultures which employed torsion-powered weapons. Approximately 5" long made in a light tan color out of hard plastic, this Roman Spear Catapult is a very RARE find and would make a great addition to your collection.
