Description: On offer is a hardcover children’s book titled “Timid Little Rabbit and Other Stories”. This is a RARE VINTAGE kid’s book and was published by Saalfield Publishing Company, Akron, Ohio, in 1931. Assumed first edition. Paper over boards, color pictorial covers, color and black-and-white text illustrations by Bill Bailey, slightly oversized. I call this rare because there are very few copies elsewhere online. This 90-year-old book is in FAIR condition. There is minor rubbing at the corners of the cover, and a minor tear on several interior pages. The main problem is that the pages have come loose from the cover and are floating free within it. But the cover itself is in good shape – nice colors. The interior color illustrations are also very good and kids will enjoy them. There are no missing or torn pages, stains, writing, scribbling or coloring to be seen. Interior pages are clean though, as I said, loose. Dimensions: Height 9 ¾ inches, Width 7 ½ inches.
