She has worked in dementia care research and clinical services for over 30 years.Jill Manthorpe is Professor of Social Work at Kings College London and Director of the NIHR Policy Research Unit on Health and Social Care Workforce. She has worked in the voluntary sector and in education for many years, concentrating on services for older people.
