Description: 7 1/2 inches long and 5 5/8 inches in height. The weight is 1 1/2 pounds. I was unable to find a comparable item, although there was some indication that this animal is a "tigelboat" an unknown tapir-like hoofed mammal from Borneo. I believe this is a bronze clad item on a wooden base. I have no idea where it was made or its age, but the wooden base has some good wear to it. Small chip on one ear and two chips on its tail. There is some green gook on one side - not sure if that is a repair or not. Interesting piece to add to your collection. Domestic shipping and handling in the U.S. is $12.50. Foreign bidders are welcome with the shipping costs to be determined after the auction is finished. I will combine shipping.
