This modification makes seeing the strobe VERY easy to observe. It is substantially BRIGHTER than the original neon lamp and a joy to use. The original neon illumination was always a weak point. I tailored the brightness level to be ideal in my estimation. Any points that required lubrication have been cleaned and re-lubricated with the very best synthetic lubricantThe original drive belt is included along with a never used drive belt. The two belt guides have been adjusted to perfection and sealed. The black disk mat shows zero wear. It is still very pliable.The stylus has been examined on an old 1970's Stereo Shop microscope and shows zero wearThis turntable/tonearm combo was never sold to an end used. It was used as a demo in the shop owner's office. It was a HiFi sales shop in 1986. It has been in storage 37 years!. The 45 RPM adapter is the original Thorens solid aluminum adapter.Both the turntable and the tonearm will be shipped DOUBLE BOXED for safety. Both inner boxes are the original factory cartons.
