Description: Up for your consideration is a wonderful hard to find carved stone "eagle owl" by Zimbabwean sculptor Thomas Makore. On the Zimbabwean carving website, it is noted as an "Eagle Owl" Measurements-approximately- 6” high x 4” wide x 1 ¾” deepColor is black/gray and the back bottom area has a brownish cast Weighs about 2 pounds Condition: Very good condition. No cracks. It has a tiny white mark on the back above and to the left of the eye which may be a very tiny chip even smaller than the size of the head of a pin (see photos). There are also a couple very small surface marks on the front feet/perch area-also very tiny chips. Please see the photos and zoom in for a good look at the condition.
