Description: This is a beautifully displayed, authentic handwritten word from one of the greatest inventors of all-time Thomas Edison. This was removed from a three page letter that Edison's assistant Starrett wrote to Edison about one of his most famous inventions - the Phonograph. Starrett wrote from The Laboratory on December 20, 1922: "Mr. Edison, You asked me to give you my criticisms of the list of forty records you have picked for the demonstration sets".... Edison notated the letter and offered here is Edison's handwritten word "heart". The letter was certified authentic by one of the best in the business JSA James Spence Authentication. (buyer will also receive a copy of the COA). It is beautifully framed and displayed on a professionally designed 5x7 card which features Edison's portrait on the front, as well as a picture of him in his laboratory on the back. The card is sealed inside a 5x7 acrylic, freestanding block frame. Please see my 550+ perfect Ebay feedback and buy with confidence regarding authenticity and quality. I have sold hundreds of my pieces (including Jefferson, George Washington, Charles Darwin, Marilyn Monroe, John Adams, JFK, Thomas Edison, and many others) and they reside in collections and schools all over the world. I was the pioneer of handwritten displays and numerous others have attempted to copy my design and quality but fall short. I personally remove each word from authentic letter fragments and make each and every display so they can be proudly shown on a desk, shelf, mantle, etc.. Thanks for looking!
