Description: In the 1940's and 1950's, independent poster exchanges popped up in the U.S. These independents would acquire excess advertising material from NSS and distribute it to movie theatres. Because most original photos, from this time period, have the NSS disclaimer on them, the independents would cut off the NSS information. By doing this, merchandise would not be mistakenly returned to the National Screen Service. Offered is an original partially trimmed 8x10 still. The still has a slight curl and minimal edge wear.
