Description: Think Like Amano - the artistry of Yoshitaka Amano This spectacular and rare, coffee table, art book Think Like Amano features a wide range of Yoshitaka Amano's work, as memorialized in his 1997 New York City exhibition. This English print edition is written by Gail Gregg for Ten Productions NYC - printed in the USA. Along with almost 300 pages of amazing color illustrations of the artist's work, along with two big double-page, poster-size foldouts, Gregg takes us, behind the curtain. on a journey into the life and mind of Amano - with a biographical approach, mixed in with an interview narrative, the writer touches on his background, inspiration, and design process. This wide-ranging epic covers everything throughout Amano's many eclectic careers, not just in Painting and Illustration, but also his ground-breaking work in Animation, Video Game Design, and Advertising. This is a rather large 'squarish' coffee table book at approx.11"x12" with many full page illustrations and, as mentioned earlier, two extra large foldouts of gorgeous Amano murals. This book has been pre-owned, but appears barely used, and is in excellent, 'like new' condition. There are no markings, notes, nor torn pages, whatsoever. Perhaps only, slight wear, barely noticeable, on some edges and corners from normal shelving, and storage over the years.
