Description: This listing falls into the "silly me" category. Long ago & far away (2015), I grabbed a number of old metal seats from the Lakewood Theater in Dallas. This is a famous local theater in my 1920's neighborhood. I ended up giving away the metal portion of the seats to a local historian without realizing I had kept the armrests. My error was uncovered when I was cleaning out a storage area today. So, consequently, someone somewhere must need these eventually. The Lakewood theater was opened in 1938, with its interior demolished in 2015. It is an official Dallas TX landmark. These armrests probably come from the 1952 renovation. I include a photo of what the theater seat looked like to give you an idea of what these armrests look like on the finished product. 16.00 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Note: you are purchasing ONE piece only unless you change the quantity in the selection box above (subject to prior sale). Unpacked weight: 13.6 oz. each Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping. I only charge actual postage, and always use recycled packing materials. Note some photos appear redundant because I take photos from all possible angles. On symmetrical items, these photos may appear redundant when there are no distinguishing differences or condition issues between side views. I gladly accept returns, but please note I do not pay return postage unless there was a significant error in my description. The item listed is being sold as is, as pictured and as described to the best of my knowledge. All dimensions and weights approximate. If you have a question or an assumption on an item prior to purchase, please ask. I much prefer to take the time on the front end to make sure you will be satisfied with your purchase. Remember, when buying vintage expect imperfections as these items have a history and have been in the possession of others. I try to list EVERY flaw which would be commented on something in an antique or vintage condition – this does not mean all imperfections resulting from normal wear & use require comment. My goal is to have no rude surprises upon receipt.
