Description: This quite interesting antique lithograph depicts the picturesque windmill at Wijk bij Duurstede, Holland, painted originally by Jacob van Ruisdael.The ornately gold gilded framed piece looks lovely on the front and the frame's age is not at all obvious until you look at the back which shows more of its age in the wood you see there.Tip for you! Since we are so ignorant about this sort of frame and print, we will offer a totally reasonable (low) price for in this listing in spite of it being such a lovely antique frame on the front and a print showing no tears or cuts. The glass in the frame is convex, curving or bowing outwardly some. This is obviously intentional.The artwork showcases the beauty of nature, working life, three Dutch ladies, and traditional 1600s Dutch art.The green bottom label on back says, Specialties Famous for originality and Quality, Manufactured Expressly for (but the rest has rubbed).
