Description: We are offering a Vintage THE WEIR CROCK STONEWARE CANNING JAR WITH the original LID & BAIL, it's marked on the lid PAT MARCH 1st 1892. One chip on the bottom of the crock and two cgips on the edge of the lid. The bail works and is secure and tight, but it is rusty from age. Please see photos as part of the description also. Measures Approx. 4-1/4" wide at the base and 7-3/4" tall. Nice piece for your collection or makes a beautiful country farm house style decorative piece.
