Description: This is a vintage original 1925 silver gelatin / glossy photograph from the silent Lon Chaney film "The Unholy Three" directed by Tod Browning. The photo belonged to midget actor Harry Earles (aka Harry Doll) who costarred in the film (shown here as the baby). The photo is a trimmed down 8x10 (size about 9x6) cut down by Harry when he put this in his scrapbook. I acquired this and a few additional photos from his midget sibling Tiny Doll, the youngest sister of Harry Earles, and she made handwritten notations on the reverse of one of the photograph as shown.(See a photo of Tiny Doll that I took at her home in Florida in the early 1990s when she gave me the photo; snapshot not included in the auction.) The photo has great clarity and contrast. This comes from Stephen Cox, author of the nostalgia book The Munchkins of Oz (Cumberland House). Note: this is a vintage original glossy photograph. Of course, the watermarks "screengems" and "ebay" do not appear on the actual item. Good to very good condition. Mega-RARE!
