This beautiful out of production FT A&B locomotive set is NIB and was never before unpacked/ran (prior to my test runs). Test ran both locomotives (yes, both are powered) on 10/31/24. The A unit ran forward but with hesitancy. I’m going to classify it as “DNR” which stands for Does Not Run just to be safe. I suspect this is a simple gearing issue which can be easily fixed with proper parts/experience. The A unit did run flawlessly in reverse which was nice to see. The B unit ran flawlessly and quietly in both forward & reverse. These are extremely quiet and run super smooth! These Locomotives are NOT DCC ready, however they can be easily converted to DCC using a hardwired decoder. Box has minor outer wear from shelf storage but otherwise in perfect shape. Foam is also in perfect shape and shows no sign of wear. Brass finish on both locomotives is C10 (MINT).
