The Sun's Storehouse M. Prishvin Art By V Kirillov, Children's Book USSR 1981 VG

Description: The Sun's Storehouse by M. Prishvin, drawings by V. Kirillov, Hardcover, printed in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, third printing 1981. Originally printed in Russian in 1955, translated by Ivy Litvinov. Book is in very good condition but shows some signs of obvious wear in spots, at the corners & spine as well as tonal / material aging. The hardcover is coated in a glossy laminate which is cracking a little bit on the spine. Binding and all pages are fully intact, no hand writing inside at all, very clean, no name or anything. The hard cardboard covers show very slight convex bowing despite the fact that I had it under a big heavy book for a few weeks. This book is comprised of 4 stories totaling 122 pages, and its a lot more writing than art. Most of the artwork is singular small graphics and there are only a few full page illustrations, so its probably not for very young kids unless they are advanced readers-
