Book has all the classic shelf wear, bumped and rubbed corners, edges. Book is clean inside with the exception of a ink stamped presenting an interesting fact. This copy participated in the “Gift of the People of the United States Through the Victory Book Campaign”. This book went to war. Besides that book is clean inside and out. Dust Jacket fair shows the years of being used and shelved. It’s now protected inside a archival wrapper to preserve the rest. DJ is mostly intact but has flakes and knicks missing around the spine top and bottom. Edges show some rubbing. Colors are still bright and it presents well sitting upon the shelf facing out in the vintage hardcover section of the library.
