Her parents were determined to give her and her sister not only good general but also spiritual education and enrolled them in a Catholic school in Hobart, Tasmania. The school fostered Miras love of learning and sparked her curiosity about the existence of God and her purpose in life on this planet. Although Catholic education didnt provide her with sufficient answers, she resolved to keep searching for them. To this effect, she studied philosophy at the University of Sydney and became interested in the teachings of Buddha.Life took a drastic turn in her late twenties, after the sudden death of her father. She was forcefully thrust into an unfamiliar world that would teach her, through personal experiences, about God and human existence in ways she could have never imagined. Work, life events and pressures caused her to become seriously ill in her early thirties. When the medical profession couldnt help her, she sought to heal through complementary therapies.
