Description: Unique, one-of-a-kind, ULTRA-RARE and complete set of all 6 Skrump characters, personally gifted and autographed by THEIR CREATOR John Chandler. INCLUDED TWO BONUS ITEMS: 1. A Christmas card from John to us with an original hand drawn “Skrumpy” character. 2. An extra set of ALL SIX used, well played with characters so you never need to unpackage these collectibles. My daughter played with these characters so they are well used. All figures are complete, but some parts like articulating limbs may be loose after considerable wear. DON'T FORGET!!! THESE ARE NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER FIVE DUE TO CHOKING HAZARD!!! YOU BEAR ALL RISK! But they are also FREE OF CHARGE in case your children (or you) want to play with the characters. John Chandler created the first Skrump characters as two-dimensionalfigures as a story and coloring book back in 1994. In the late 90’s with hiswife’s encouragement, John decided to create the three-dimensional vinylcollectible toys you see on offer here. There were 6 original season oneSkrumps with a season two set of 6 more characters already planned that were unfortunatelynever developed. The Skrumps collectible figures, each packaged with a shortstory introducing each character went on sale in 2004 and were distributed bySplashdown Toys until the intellectual property and rights were acquired by JimHenson (of Muppet fame) who introduced animated versions of the Skrumps inFraggle Rock. This rare offering includes: Skrumpy is the most loving, caring, and wise Skrumpin the land. In any situation, Skrumpy is always the first to offer his helpand guidance to any Skrump in need. Worried Willie starts off most of his days with abubble bath, and that is when the worrying begins. Is he going to get firedfrom his job? Will the electricity go off? Will he accidentally swallow histongue? Skraps Baxter is the most rude and insensitive Skrumpin the land. He enjoys nothing more than insulting everyone who hasunfortunately crossed his path. The Mooch is a Skrump who never has anything to give.He always wants something from someone else, especially, tasty snacks. TheMooch searches high and low throughout the land for Skrumps with tasty snacks.He'll "mooch", non-stop, for days at a time. He is a moochingmachine. Lazy Louie… Every afternoon when Lazy Louie wakes up,he goes outside looking for his buddy Floyd. He sort of relies on Floyd to dothe things that he doesn't like to do, such as long walks, cooking, or any kindof manual labor. The Bathtub Bandit is a Skrump who lurks around the neighborhood,seeking out hot, steamy, relaxing, bubble baths that he can heist fromunsuspecting Skrumps. Each of these 6 highly collectible characters is brand new in its original packaging and never opened. Each character’s package is autographedwith John’s full signature, not initials. The Christmas card and hand-drawn artwork is also signed by John to my wife, who worked with John in the early2000’s.
