These guys were not a typical psychedelic group of the late 1960's. Their lyrics were religious and they're often considered as a Christian rock band. Now that sounds pretty dull but don't let their reputation fool you. Yes they sing about Biblical stuff but if you can ignore the lyrics this one is an enjoyable record. I dig the sound of this band very much. They play folk rock with lots of psychedelic elements. Some of these songs include fantastic organ sound and killer fuzz guitar."So Many Things Have Got Me Down" is a nine minutes long masterpiece and the biggest highlight here. But the rest of the songs are mostly enjoyable as well. Since English is not my native language it's pretty easy for me to just pay attention to the music and not listen to the lyrics. If you can do that this album will be a satisfying listen for everyone who enjoys psych rock and/or folk rock. This was originally a private pressing of just 600 copies so it's not hard to understand why this album is so damn rare and valuable nowadays. The original copies cost thousands of dollars in these days.
